I normally wear a large in dresses and this is very true to size.Fits niceSo should start by saying I have a relatively rectangular/round shape - small bust, long torso, belly, no real defined waist. My bust and waist measurements do not match the hourglass figure sizing chart they offered, so I chose to take a chance and go with the bust measurements but err on the side of caution and go slightly bigger since my waist is much larger than the options offered in their sizing chart. I wish I had chosen one size smaller. It is more of a boxy cut than I would've assumed given the sizing chart. The upper back panel of the dress is also that elastic ruched fabric so there's quite a bit of give for your waist that you can work with. The fabric is a bit on the thin side, but nothing that makes me feel uncomfortable - I usually wear some spandex or something underneath anyways to avoid chafing on my thighs when I wear a dress. The sleeves are a bit awkward though. The elastic around the elbow just sits in an awkward place. It's not too bad if I have the sleeves pulled up on top of my shoulders, but if I want to wear it off the shoulder it just hits in an awkward place and it gets really irritating when I try to move my arms. The color is really pretty though, and I wish it fit a little better. But the sleeves especially just keep hitting in an off spot. I'll still find an occasion to wear it, just not as often as I had originally thought I would.Fit perfect! So comfortable and perfect with ankle boots or wedges.I do love this dress as the material is lightweight and cool. The sleeves are very feminine and well-defined, which I love. The dress flares nicely at the bottom. My only issue with this is that it is short-waisted and therefore not exactly true to size unfortunately because the pockets on the side rise above the hips, making them feel awkwardly placed. The color is beautiful, though – a nice, rich autumn color. Wish this fit me better!This lovely dress has lantern sleeves, a squar neckline and stirred back. The fabric has raised dots on the surface and looks textured. This dress can be worn at parties, weddings, traveling, dates, dinners, or whenever you want to look special and chic. It is lovely, well made and stylish.
